ABOUT S.W.I.M.

Shekinah Worship International Ministries was birthed on September 1, 2006. Leading the Ministry is our Pastor, Rev. Dr. Maria A. Seaman, who believes in salvation, redemption, and living a godly, holy life before God. We are in covenant relationship with Pastor Karen Bethea of Set the Captives Free in Baltimore, Maryland.

Shekinah Worship Centre, Bermuda is our local church, founded on the Word of God, and equipping believers to go out into all the world and live Christian lives that reflect the gospel of Jesus Christ.

A non-denominational church, we pride ourselves on the fact that we must be members of the Body of Christ, not steeped in religiosity, but firmly planted in the Word of God.

We believe in the preached word of God, salvation, and holiness, and that the Holy Spirit is the head of the church and our lives.

We believe that the church must reach the community and be a presence in the world. To this end, we have four main areas of ministry: evangelism, media, education, and stewardship.

We believe in Pentecost and move as the Holy Spirit leads. Hence, church is an exciting place and these are exciting times. We worship in spirit and in truth and believe in the freedom of all to worship God in this manner.

We are a liberated church; liberated from the bondage of doing the will of men in favor of doing the will of God. For, there is no better and safer place to be than in the will of God! We walk by faith, not by sight, and have seen miracles performed in our midst because of the manifestation of the Holy Spirit.

As a new church, our aim is to grow in the knowledge and faith of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and as we grow, to reach the un-churched through our praise and worship, love of Christ, and love for one another. We are striving to become a five-star church that is cutting-edge.

We believe that we will and can take Bermuda and the world by storm demonstrating that Christ is alive, large, and in charge today.

Come join our Pastor who has a heart for the nation, its young people, and seniors.

Oh come let us adore Him, Christ the Lord!
